Prof. Camelia-Margareta Bogdanici graduated General Medicine in University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Grigore T. Popa†Iasi, Romania in 1985. She did her residency on Iasi, Romania between 1990 -1994, in the same Hospital in which she is working now. She was Assistant Professor at University of Medicine and Pharmacy “ Grigore T. Popa†, first at Histology Department, between 1987-1990, and then at Ophthalmology Department between 1991 and 1999, Lecturer between 1999-2007 and then Associate Professor, since now, in the same University and Hospital. Her lectures are for Romanian and English students in Ophthalmology. She graduated Medical Degree (PhD) in 1999. The title of my thesis was “Clinical research for presor equilibrium at normal, ocular hypertension and glaucomaâ€. Some fellowships: Köln, Germany (1994), Kfar-Saba, Israel (1997), Louisville, Kentucky (1997), Regensburg, Germany (2006). Between 2007 and 2012, she was Medical Director of Hospital “Sf. Spiridon†Iasi, Romania, and between 2012 - 2016 Deputy in Romanian Parliament, in Health and Family Commission. She is the member of Romanian Board Society, Romanian Society of Ophthalmopediatry and Strabismus, member of Romanian Society of Contact Lenses, member of European Academy of Orthokeratology. She contributes as author in many Romanian and International Congresses, and also of scientific publications and books of ophthalmology. Her preferred topics are Ophthalmopediatry, Amblyopia, Ortokeratology, Contact lenses and Low vision.
