Biography
Alaa Radwan, Ophthalmology consultant in Uveitis and medical retina, Head of Egyptian Uveitis Society, Cairo, Egypt. He was graduated from Sohag School of Medicine, trained in Uveitis and inflammatory eye diseases at Massachusetts Eye Research and surgery Institution, Boston, USA. He had founded a tertiary uveitis service in Cortoba eye Center, Cairo Capital of Egypt and International Eye Clinic, Sohag, Upper Egypt. He is a visitor Uveitis and medical retina consultant in many hospitals at Gulf area; King Abdul-Aziz subspecialty hospital KSA and ALFarwanya Hospital, Kuwait. For the last 4 years he is educating young ophthalmologists in the field of Uveitis and Retina in Regular courses in Egyptian Medical Syndicate Teaching Center and Egyptian Ophthalmology Society yearly conference. He is interested now in the clinical and epidemiological studies of uveitis in Egypt. His researches were published in peer-reviewed journals and presented my work in regional and international symposia. Currently he is the Head and founder of Masr Uveitis and Retina Center, Cairo, Egypt. First established eye center in Uveitis and inflammatory eye diseases subspecialty in Egypt.
